Oliva Serie O Petit Perfect - The Official Cigar of the Doormatt's Walk Home

11 Blocks.
That's how far the Doormatt has to walk from his Times Square office to Penn Station in order to get home.
It's an enjoyable walk -- a stroll through Times Sqaure, the windows of Macy's all decked out for Christmas, it's a great thing.
The other night I was given an Oliva Serie O Petit Perfecto by my friends at Fume as an added "Thank You" for my business.
Today, I announce that the Oliva Serie O Petit Perfecto is the official cigar of the Doormatt's walk home.
At 4x49, it's a perfect size for such a short distance -- actually a 15 minute brisk walk isn't such a short distance. But enjoying this Nicaraguian made with a Cuban seed makes the time fly. Toasty and cedary, this small smoke has much flavor and is well made.
In recent years, Oliva has impressed cigar experts and customers alike. As the Cuban seed continues its maturation progress in lands unoccupied by bearded facists in drab military uniforms with the last name Castro, the competition among super-premium cigars stiffens and proprietors of these companies are cultivating creative blends that look, feel, and taste as if they were made in the old country.
Oliva is one such company. In fact, Cigar Insider and Cigar Aficionado have been handing low 90 ratings to Oliva "O" series for the last few years -- including rating the Serie "O" Ole #9 on its 2006 list of Best Cigars.
The petit perfecto is the first Oliva I have the pleasure of enjoying, but fear not as sitting in my box is a Oliva Master Blend 3 double robusto Reviews ahead as I wait with great anticipation, but for now, I made sure I purchased a box of 20 of the Petit Perfectos.
Calling them P.P.s is just cruel.
Mr. C says - like engagement rings and grape tomatoes, good things come in small packages. This toothy and toasty small gem gets an 88 in my book.

Has anyone else tried these? I picked up a box of these, and so far, every one of them has smoked poorly, burning very unevenly. Is this a common problem with this cigar, or did I get a bad box?
