2008 YEAR IN PHOTOS

APRIL, 2008 McDuffie/Spinelli wedding Bay Shore, NY

MAY, 2008 South Denver soccer field

JUNE, 2008 Jack & Bill, Newfield, NY

Editing & selecting photos is never easy, especially when you are attached to each one emotionally. I hope who is ever watching enjoys these selections. Each one tells a story unique to the year passed. I could tell the story but my belief is creating photos that require the viewer to make his or her own decisions about it. If I had to tell the story than the photography is not effective, that is how I see it.

Cheers,

Jason

Cigar company could hold the answers for larger business in tough economy

CNN's John Zarella takes a tour of the J.C. Newman factory - a story that shows how this small business is bucking the trend by working with its labor force to find alternative ways to save money other than laying off its workers.

Chalk one up for the Doormatt - Value Cigars getting ink

Number one on my list a few days ago..... justified by today's Seattle Times.

From today's article:

"Just as folks seem to be opting for less-expensive spirits, those who enjoy cigars also seem to be moving from top-priced brands to more middle-of-the-road stogies, said Joe Arundel, co-owner of Rain City Cigar in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood."
